HCD is currently seeking an experienced HCM analyst to join our IT Applications Team.  As an HCM analyst you will play a key role in our Oracle HCM implementation, collaborating and working closely with HCD leaders and stakeholders.  You will be responsible for applying functional knowledge and expertise in the design and ongoing support of effective solutions to meet our HR needs in the areas of Core Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll, Absence Management and Recruiting.  You will also work alongside our HRIS Analyst and business partners to support associated HR applications such as ADP, ICIMS, and our learning management solutions.  Previous Oracle HCM implementation experience and deep understanding and experience in HR and talent management are preferred.The Applications Analyst (II) functions collaboratively as a leader, a consultant and a researcher with the primary responsibility of the effective implementation and support of assigned system(s).  The Applications Analyst role will have primary responsibility for the design, build/configuration, testing, validation, documentation and ongoing support for the District’s applications. The Analyst will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the software functionality and acquiring/utilizing knowledge of the operational workflows to be implemented with their supported systems. The Analyst will be responsible for coordinating aspects of planning, design, development, training, implementation, communication, maintenance and evaluation of existing or new functionality related to assigned system(s) and related information systems. This position assures critical production and test applications perform to quality specifications and are readily available for end users across the District.

What is the Clinical Float pool and what to expect?The Clinical Float Pool is a newly developed department for the Health Care District of Palm Beach County. We have four major business units that utilize similar skill sets in practice: Lakeside Medical Center, The Edward J. Healey Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, C.L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics, and School Health. The Clinical Float Pool is a department of clinical staff that are willing and able to cross train to assist with covering staffing needs in 2 or more of these business unit and they are incentivized financially utilizing a tiered approach based on the number of business units the employee works.   We will offer training in each area while onboarding initially and if you would like to grow a tier after initial training. We are looking for flexible, skilled staff with fantastic attitudes to help make this a success.  We have positions posted for this elite team now! Under direct supervision, employees provide assistance to Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses in the delivery of health care services. This position is responsible for performing non-licensed work to meet the hygienic, emotional and physical needs of patients to assist them in restoring, reaching and/or maintaining their optimal level of function. Care and services are performed in compliance with a written plan of care and assignment. The employee’s responsibilities are primarily of a clerical nature, with the focus being on facilitating communications between incoming calls and the staff, making arrangements for patient admission and/or transfer.
