This position provides administrative support to all clinic staff and its departments, with emphasis on registration, cash reconciliation, clinic work flow, patient cycle time, customer service, management of appointment schedule, and staff work schedule.

The Provider Enrollment Specialist is responsible for coordinating all necessary provider enrollment applications for billing to various carriers.  This position is also responsible for ensuring all applicable documents have been sent/received in a timely manner to the authorized signer and preparing/submitting a completed payer application.  Responsibilities also include completing all CAQH re-attestations, online application and re-enrollment applications.

This position assists with planning, developing, and coordinating the preparation of various financial and statistical analyses and reports in support of operational and clinical decision-making, and in response to agency requests. The Financial Analyst also assists with the development of the annual budget.

The Senior Desktop Engineer is directly involved with the operational delivery of technical services for all HCD Home Office support. Senior Desktop Engineers have primary responsibility for delivery of services required to install, configure, monitor, support and manage the HCD systems. The Senior Desktop Engineer possesses an advanced understanding of the systems and technologies in place at HCD, along with advanced knowledge of PC level applications deployed throughout. Responsibilities also include supporting the electronic medical record (EMR) and revenue cycle computer systems in collaboration with the HCD enterprise Information Services staff. While primarily responsible for hardware and operating system components, this person possesses a thorough understanding of the business environment and the business applications running on the systems being managed, and leverages that knowledge to develop or recommend operational efficiencies, and improvements. This role participates in a twenty-four (24) hour on call rotation to support the Information Services Help Desk as required.

The Performance Excellence Facilitator is responsible for the implementation and delivery of the Healthcare District Palm Beach County Performance Excellence Program under the direction of the Assistant Vice President Organization Transformation.  Performance Excellence Facilitators will partner with Performance Excellence Business Partners and  HCDPBC Managers and Associates to identify and improve operational efficiencies by measurable results by reducing variation and waste, and improving process flow, speed, and quality and will provide on-going support to teams to become Continuous Improvement practitioners.  The goal of the Performance Excellence Office is to improve HCDPBC net operating results 3% per year on average, through the implementation of lean management systems, and to enable healthcare delivery re-design from volume to value.  This will be accomplished through the self-directed application of lean concepts and methods, such as Value Stream Maps, 5S and Kaizen Rapid Improvement Events throughout HCDPBC with the management team.

The Safety & Security Officer ensures there is a safe, protected, and secured environment throughout the business units and corresponding assigned locations by patrolling and monitoring corresponding premises. As needed, he/she will provide guidance and direction to staff, visitors, andpatients when arriving to the unit and during times of distress. During timesof distress, will monitor incident operations and advise the Incident Commander (IC) or Unified Command on all matters relating to operational safety, including the environmental, health and safety of personnel involved in the incident.

This position performs safe and effective patient care by passing and setting-up instruments to the Surgeon and protecting the sterile environment under the supervision ofthe Registered Nurse to the patient in the Surgical Services Department. Employee interacts with patients and health care teams, while maintaining the Surgical Services Department’s standards.
