The Communications Operator receives and transfers telephone calls using Lakeside Medical Center’s switchboard telephone console. The employee provides prompt service and response to incoming calls from all patients, physicians, hospital staff and all outside agencies including the community. The employee is responsible for monitoring all emergency panels and announcing the emergency code using the telephone console and/or the fire panel microphone according to the respective Emergency Code procedure.

Under direct supervision, the purpose of the position is to provide assistance to Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses in the delivery of Health Care Services. Employees in this position are responsible for performing non-licensed work to meet the hygienic, emotional, and physical needs of residents to assist them in restoring, reaching, and/or maintaining their optimal level of function.  Care is performed in compliance with a written plan of care and assignment.

Responsible for oversight and direction for nurses (RNs), Patient Navigators (PNs), and Medical Assistants (MAs) for the Health Care District’s Primary Care Clinics. Provides clinical guidance and training to RNs and MAs. Evaluates the effectiveness of the care provided to patients by RNs and MAs. Monitors ongoing RNs and MAs clinical performance. Maintains responsibility and accountability for RNs and MAs to ensure their performed duties are in accordance with established policies, nursing standards, and clinical protocols. Coordinates risk-related activities for the C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics.

Well-established to work collaboratively with a team to provide patients with medical, psychiatric, and substance use triage services and treatment, understanding the emotional, psychological, and behavioral impact of mental health, substance use, and addiction on the patient, family, and loved ones. This position is responsible for triaging and assessing the patient, planning the care, and evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions by established regulations, policies, and procedures, the Nursing Practice Act, and Board of Nursing, and medical instructions. This position works in settings that address crisis mental health and substance use care in a crisis setting as well as in an outreach setting with a multidisciplinary team.

This position collaborates with the Senior Leadership team on strategic planning, goal setting, department evaluations, and the implementation of strategic initiatives for the respective department. The Quality Manager works in partnership with the CL Brumback Primary Care Clinics administrative and medical staff leadership to implement and maintain quality initiatives, reporting, and policies, and procedures. This position is responsible for providing oversight, as well as coordinating and evaluating all facets of the CL Brumback Primary Care Clinics quality management and patient safety activities.

This position provides safe and effective nursing care and treatment to patients in the Emergency Services Department.  Employees are part of a managed care team and works collaboratively with ancillary personnel in the provision of proper medical services and treatment.  This position is responsible for assessing the patient, planning the care and evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions in accordance with established regulations, policies, nursing standards and medical instructions.

This position performs safe and effective patient care by passing and setting-up instruments to the Surgeon and protecting the sterile environment under the supervision ofthe Registered Nurse to the patient in the Surgical Services Department. Employee interacts with patients and health care teams, while maintaining the Surgical Services Department’s standards. This position is responsible for cleaning, setting up, and stocking the operating room as well as sterilization of equipment, to ensure a safe and sterile environment for the surgeons and support staff.
