The BHC is a licensed clinical psychologist or LMHC or LCSW who adheres to the highest standards of evidence based medical practice, ethics, and professionalism at all times. The BHC provides direct behavioral health integration to children, adolescents, adults and families in order to improve psychosocial function in a primary care setting.
Essential Functions:
Provide comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of behavioral health clients.
Education:
Master’s degree or doctorate in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field required.
Experience:
Three (3) years’ professional mental health experience in a health care setting required.
Certification:
Current ACLS or BLS certification required.
Licensure:
Current and valid State of Florida License in Mental Health Counseling or Licensed Clinical Social Worker license required or Licensed clinical psychologist.
Valid Florida Driver’s license required
