The Performance Excellence Facilitator is responsible for the implementation and delivery of the Healthcare District Palm Beach County Performance Excellence Program under the direction of the Assistant Vice President Organization Transformation. Performance Excellence Facilitators will partner with Performance Excellence Business Partners and HCDPBC Managers and Associates to identify and improve operational efficiencies by measurable results by reducing variation and waste, and improving process flow, speed, and quality and will provide on-going support to teams to become Continuous Improvement practitioners. The goal of the Performance Excellence Office is to improve HCDPBC net operating results 3% per year on average, through the implementation of lean management systems, and to enable healthcare delivery re-design from volume to value. This will be accomplished through the self-directed application of lean concepts and methods, such as Value Stream Maps, 5S and Kaizen Rapid Improvement Events throughout HCDPBC with the management team.

This highly skilled technical position performs specialized diagnostic, mechanical maintenance, tests, inspections, and repairs of the Health Care Districts Trauma Hawk Helicopters’ avionics, electronic systems, computer systems, and instruments. Requires a strong knowledge and experience of aircraft electrical systems, avionics equipment, and airframe structures to troubleshoot and repair difficult and sophisticated aircraft systems and components. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Experience with soldering and wiring techniques for electrical connections. The Safety & Security Officer ensures there is a safe, protected, and secured environment throughout the business units and corresponding assigned locations by patrolling and monitoring corresponding premises. As needed, he/she will provide guidance and direction to staff, visitors, andpatients when arriving to the unit and during times of distress. During timesof distress, will monitor incident operations and advise the Incident Commander (IC) or Unified Command on all matters relating to operational safety, including the environmental, health and safety of personnel involved in the incident.
